Hi! I’m Luigi,
storyteller & filmmaker.
I’m a Mexican-Colombian screenwriter, producer, and filmmaker, specialized in kids media. Navigating multiple mediums, from feature films to short form digital series and podcasts, I’m passionate for developing relatable characters, imagining fantastical and inclusive worlds, and crafting stories where kids (and grown-ups) can have fun!
Currently producing & scripting at Nickelodeon Digital Development (Preschool). I’m the Creative Lead Producer for You-Tube first series Kid Cowboy and have worked on four Dora original short-form series. I was previously the Dora YouTube channel lead and have written multiple episodes for Nick Jr. Podcasts.
I co-wrote Viajeros, an HBOMax original film, available in LATAM, August 2022.
I was selected in Talents Guadalajara 2019, as part of the FICG/Berlinale program. The short films I’ve written/directed, The Time Traveler (2017) and Dragon (2016) have been selected in several film festivals including Short Film Corner Cannes, Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF) and Los Angeles International Children’s Film Festival.
I’ve been telling stories ever since I was a kid. Whether I was with my friends, or alone in my room with my toys, I always had a character to create and a quest to narrate.
I’ve been lucky enough to turn my passion into my job and just like when I was little, I’m constantly looking for new stories to tell.
